In this copy photo released by Reading Public Museum, in Reading, Pa., shown is the 1842 painting by Joseph Ord titled 'Still Life.' This is one of 149 paintings that will be offered at auction Oct. 28, 2005 to help the museum raise money for additions to its art collections. Like other museums, Reading has far more paintings than it can exhibit, and plans to sell those that don't have much chance of being displayed because of their similarity to what's already on the gallery walls.
